HAI-O Foundation, a philanthropic arm of Hai-O Group of Companies, donated RM100,000 to Association of Wives of Ministers and Deputy Ministers (Bakti) to support its charity activities recently.
The cheque was presented by Hai-O Marketing Sdn Bhd Business Development manager Shahrizan Idris to Bakti president Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor.
“We hope that our contribution will ease the burden of many less fortunate people and we are indeed pleased about being able to support Bakti’s noble act, ” said Shahrizan.
The foundation also donated RM78,000 to five other charity organisations. These are:
·Pertubuhan Rumah Anak Yatim Miskin Daerah Kuala Langat;
·Rumah Amal Anak Yatim YPIN Jalan Banting Klang;
·Pengurusan Baitul Kasih Sg Buloh;
·Pertubuhan Kanak-Kanak Insan Istimewa Cemerlang Sg Buaya Rawang; and
·Rumah Nursalam, Jalan Chow Kit, Kuala Lumpur.
The festive season contribution is part of the foundation’s social responsibility initiative to supplement the operating costs of these charity organisatons.
This is in line withthe foundation’s CSR policy to care for the community and to offer help to those in need.
Besides cash donations, 500 Bio Aura water filters worth RM1mil were also donated to various government organisations, private agencies and charity homes nationwide.
