Hai-O Enterprise Bhd is set to be appointed by Golden Hope Bioganic Sdn Bhd as the exclusive distributor of Tri E, a soft-gel capsule, in certain parts of China.
In a statement on April 13, Hai-O said it had signed a memorandum of understanding with Golden Hope Bioganic, a subsidiary of Golden Hope Plantations Bhd, to appoint Hai-O to spearhead the registration of Tri E in China and granting it as the exclusive distributor.
It said Golden Hope Bioganic was interested to appoint Hai-O to register Tri E in China at least on a regional basis. It added that the distributorship was also subject to projected sale targets.
Hai-O is to formulate marketing plans with distributors from China and derive an intensive marketing programme to penetrate and build up the Tri E brand there.
Hai-O said the MoU would be valid for three months, upon which the parties would sign a definitive agreement.
